Can I sauna naked? No, sorry. Please wear swimmers, for everyone's comfort.
Do you have changing facilities? No, but don't worry—everyone's focused on the view! We're happy to hold up towels if you need help changing.
Can I wear jewellery in the sauna? We advise against wearing any hanging jewellery, as it can get hot.
When should I arrive for my sauna? Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in and change.
What can I take into the sauna? Just yourself, your towel and your water bottle. Leave your other belongings outside - we’ll take care of them. If in any doubt, leave valuables somewhere safe before arrival.
Can anyone use the sauna? Generally, yes, but some people shouldn't. This includes those with blood pressure issues, heart or circulatory disorders, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnant women, those prone to dizziness, or anyone with fungal infections or open wounds. Please check our Terms and Conditions or email us for more details.
Can I bring my child? Yes, our insurance covers children under the age of 16 using the sauna. However, they must be accompanied by an adult family member or carer at all times, both in and outside of the sauna. You will need to sign a waiver detailing your relationship with the child. Please contact us directly to receive the form for signature.

Two towels - one for sitting on and one for drying yourself afterwards.
Your swimmers - wear them under your clothes for a quick change and to maximise your session time.
Water - it’s hot in the sauna! Take care of yourself and keep hydrated.
Optional - sand shoes or flip-flops. The walk to the water can be rocky when the tide is out. You'll need to remove them before entering the sauna though.

On arrival at Stonesthrow you’ll be greeted by Andrew or Amy, who will explain your session. They'll check your booking, and you can change into your swimmers (or just remove outer clothing if you're already wearing them). Please note that we don't have changing facilities, but we provide boxes for your belongings.
When your session starts you’ll enter the sauna and we’ll check the temperature. You can add water to the coals, but chat to those sharing your session before doing so, just to make sure everyone is happy.
Enjoy the heat and the view for 15 - 20 minutes before cooling off in the sea. Return to the sauna after rinsing your feet.
We’ll let you know when your session has finished. Afterwards, take another dip, get changed, chat with friends, and savour the post-sauna glow!
